Troubleshooting
Answers to the problems people run into most, and where to read more.
My incidents do not show on uptimecard.com
They show only on your page's own address until you verify the domain. After verifying, they show on uptimecard.com/status/your-domain too.
I cannot change the words or the logo
Content needs a verified owner, because anyone can create a page for any domain. Showing and hiding sections already works. See Words and pictures need verification.
My status page always shows 100%
The page is in Manual mode: nothing checks it, so it is up unless you post an incident. On Plus and Innovator, switch services to automatic. Free pages are always Manual.
“This domain name is restricted”
The domain belongs to a popular service that already has a page on uptimecard.com. Email support@uptimecard.com if you need a page for it.
“This site can’t be reached” when creating a page
Check the spelling. If it is right, choose Yes, create under Create it anyway?. See Messages you may see.
“Turned our checker away (403)”
The website blocks our checker. Ask whoever runs it to allow it, or watch another page of the site. See How checks work.
I cannot save a new address for a monitor
A monitor stays on its website; only the page can change. Create a new monitor for another website. See Address and name.
My Plus monitor has 6 locations, my Plus status page 19
That is how the plans work: monitors on Plus use 6 locations, automatic status pages use all 19. See Plans and limits.
I did not get an alert
Check that email alerts are on and the address is right in Monitor settings, that the daily limit was not reached (limits), and that the monitor is not paused. One failed check alone is not an outage.
My custom domain is not live
Check the DNS record the studio shows, at your domain provider. Changes can take a few hours. See Connect your own domain.
“Limit reached”
All the monitors or status pages on your plan are in use. See When you reach a limit.
