Create your account, watch your first website and publish a status page in a few minutes.
What UptimeCard does
UptimeCard does two things, and you can use either one or both:
- 1Monitors check a website for you, day and night, and email you when it stops answering. Monitors are private: only you see them.
- 2Status pages are public pages that tell visitors whether your website works, and where you post updates when something goes wrong. Every status page also gets its own page on uptimecard.com, so people can find it.
1. Create your account
Go to studio.uptimecard.com and sign up with Google, GitHub or an email address. The studio is where you manage everything.
Every new account starts with 14 days of Plus
2. Watch your first website
In the studio, open Monitors and choose New monitor. You only type the address. Alerts, how often we check and where from are set up for you, and you can change them right after. Try it below:
Details on every field and limit: Create a monitor.
3. Publish a status page
Open Status pages and choose New status page. Type the domain of your website. The page is public within seconds at uptimecard.com/status/your-domain, with first words drafted from your website. Then you can change its words, logo and sections in the editor.
Step by step: Create a status page and Edit your status page.
What to do next
- 1Verify that you own the domain. It unlocks changing the words and pictures on your page, and makes your updates appear on uptimecard.com.
- 2Put the page on your own address, like status.yourdomain.com.
- 3Learn how to post an incident, before you need it.
- 4Add the status badge to your website's footer.
