Get a monitor's down and domain alerts in a Slack or Discord channel.

What is sent
The same alerts as email: down, short outages and domain alerts, within the same daily limit. Updates from official status pages you follow, and the weekly report, stay email only. Each monitor has its own Slack and Discord setting, one webhook each.
Get a Slack webhook URL
- 1Open the Slack apps page and create a new app from scratch.
- 2Turn on Incoming Webhooks, then add a webhook and pick a channel.
- 3Copy the webhook URL and paste it here.

Get a Discord webhook URL
- 1Open the settings of the channel that should get alerts.
- 2Go to Integrations, then Webhooks, and create a new webhook.

Connect it to a monitor
Open the monitor's Edit page, switch on Slack alerts or Discord alerts, paste the URL, try Send test message, then Save changes. Try it below (Plus is selected).

Slack alerts are off.
Discord alerts are off.
Slack and Discord get the same outage and domain alerts as email, within the same daily limit. Official status page updates stay email only.
Domain protection alerts
Alerts about the domain and SSL certificate. We only write about deadlines and serious changes, and never twice about the same thing.
Domain expiration
Reminders 30 and 7 days before the domain registration ends, and if it expires or is no longer registered.
SSL certificate
Reminders 14 and 3 days before your certificate expires, and if it expires or stops being valid.
Domain & DNS changes
A protection lock removed, a new registrar or new nameservers, or DNS that stops working correctly.
Email protection
Your SPF or DMARC records are removed, weakened or broken.
Security risks
Abandoned subdomain records someone else could take over, and new lookalike domains that can receive email.
Checking regions
Multi-region checking prevents false positives.

Rules and messages
- Only a real Slack or Discord webhook URL is accepted, up to 300 characters. Otherwise: That does not look like a Slack webhook URL.
- Switched on with an empty box, saving says Paste the Slack webhook URL, or switch Slack alerts off.
- After saving, the page shows only the start and the last 4 characters of the URL. To change it, use Replace.
- If Slack or Discord deletes the webhook, the card says it no longer accepts it and alerts skip it until you replace it.
- Switching the card off and saving removes the saved webhook.
