Reading a monitor page

What the status, uptime numbers, charts and cards on a monitor's page tell you.

The top card

  • The status square: green with a tick when the website answers, red when it is down, grey when the monitor is paused or has no checks yet. Next to it, the status in words and one or two sentences about it.
  • The facts line: whether alerts are on, how often it is checked and from how many places.
  • The 24-hour strip: one block per hour, coloured by what the checks found.
  • Uptime tiles: the share of successful checks over 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days (plus 365 days on paid plans), the minutes down, and the number of passed and failed checks.
