  • Cloudflare runs on HTTP/3 — Cloudflare's edge enables HTTP/3, reducing latency for business users on fast connections.
  • cdnjs overlaps with jsDelivr — Both serve common JavaScript libraries, creating potential duplication and extra DNS lookups without clear performance benefit.
  • cdnjs requires core-js — core-js polyfills modern JavaScript, delivered via cdnjs to ensure older browser compatibility for interactive features.
  • Cloudflare integrates with HSTS — HSTS is enforced via Cloudflare to force HTTPS, protecting visitor data and improving security.
  • Facebook Pixel works alongside Linkedin Insight Tag — Both pixels track ad conversions across Facebook and LinkedIn, covering broad consumer and B2B professional audiences.
  • HubSpot CMS Hub requires jQuery — HubSpot CMS templates often rely on jQuery for form validation and interactive modules, making it a foundational library.
  • Lightbox works alongside Swiper — Lightbox opens full-size media from Swiper carousels, letting prospects inspect screenshots and case-study images in detail.
  • Font Awesome requires HubSpot CMS Hub — Font Awesome provides icon fonts within HubSpot CMS templates, ensuring consistent visual language across service pages.

How to fix Kajeet not working

When a Kajeet device will not connect, it is usually one of a few simple causes: signal, the daily data allowance, or a setting the administrator controls. Match your symptom below. Students and parents have steps they can do; the rest needs the school or organization administrator.

Jump to what you are seeing

No Connection

The device or hotspot shows no connection or no internet.

  1. Make sure the device is charged, then move near a window or outdoors, away from thick walls and metal, and look at the signal bars. A weak signal will not connect.
  2. Power off the hotspot and every device connected to it, turn them back on, and follow the Quick Start steps again.
  3. Check the device is active: Kajeet has a Check Device Status tool on its support page that also shows outages.
  4. Ask the school or organization whether the daily use limit has been reached, or whether an administrator paused the device.

Slow Data Speeds

The connection works but is very slow.

  1. Move to a spot with better signal and test again.
  2. Disconnect other devices from the hotspot and close apps that download in the background, since video uses the allowance quickly.
  3. Ask the administrator whether the data allowance has been used up. Speed or access can be limited after a limit, and the allowance may only refresh the next day.
  4. Try again at a different time of day; busy hours can slow cellular networks.

Device Activation

A new or replacement device does not activate.

  1. Check the SIM is inserted properly and the device is charged and in a coverage area.
  2. Ask your administrator to confirm the device or SIM is assigned and activated in Sentinel.
  3. Wait a few minutes after activation and restart the device.
  4. If other new devices fail too, check Kajeet's status information, because activation errors on a carrier side are sometimes posted as incidents.

Sentinel Portal Error

The administrator portal shows an error or fails to load.

  1. Reload and try a private window.
  2. Clear the site data for the portal or use another browser.
  3. Check that your role allows the page you are opening.
  4. If it fails for several administrators, check the status page.

Login Failed

The administrator or user account cannot sign in.

  1. Use the reset password option and check your spam folder.
  2. Check the account email is correct.
  3. Ask your organization administrator to check your access.
  4. Check the status page if many users fail at once.

Website Down

The Kajeet website will not load.

  1. Try another network or browser.
  2. Check the status page.
  3. If you are a student on a Kajeet device, note that content filtering may block some pages by design.

Still not working?

If the device still will not work, contact your school or organization administrator first. For an urgent device or network problem you can also call Kajeet on 877-352-5338, or submit a ticket on kajeet.com/support with the device serial or SIM number and the time the problem started. Live incident updates are on status.kajeet.net.

Many connection problems are a signal or settings issue that clears with a move or a restart, and administrators can fix plan or activation problems quickly. If a whole network is affected, it is typically a carrier problem that gets resolved within hours.
