About Appfigures & Technical Insights
What this service does and the technologies behind it.
Read the tech stack as text▾
Overview: A privacy-conscious conversion engine disguised as a Webflow marketing site, firing dual analytics stacks and every major ad pixel to sell app intelligence to B2B developers.
What stands out
- The combination of Piwik PRO and Google Analytics reveals a deliberate split between privacy-first tracking and aggressive ad-measurement needs.
- Doubleclick Floodlight alongside Google Ads and Google Tag Manager shows heavy investment in paid acquisition through Google's full stack.
- Using both Matomo Tag Manager and Google Tag Manager adds maintenance overhead; likely a corporate privacy policy keeps ad pixels and product analytics apart.
- A Webflow site with this many tracking tags indicates a growth-stage SaaS optimizing conversion, not just brand presence.
Technologies appfigures.com uses
- YouTube — Embeds feature demos and customer videos to explain app analytics use cases.

- Cloudflare — CDN and edge security fronting the whole site.
- Google Ads — Captures high-intent queries like 'app analytics' through search and performance ads.
- DoubleClick Floodlight — Floodlight counters prove ROI on Display & Video 360 campaigns; rare outside mature ad stacks.
- Webflow — Serves as the marketing site's no-code CMS with tight control over page templates and integrations.
- Sectigo — Issues SSL certificate, enabling encrypted HTTPS for customer signup and trial forms.
- Google Font API — Loads typeface assets efficiently.

How these technologies work together
- Linkedin Ads requires Linkedin Insight Tag — Insight tag is required to attribute signups and retarget LinkedIn ad visitors.
- Google Ads requires Google Ads Conversion Tracking — Ads platform fires conversion tag on key actions, enabling bid optimization for subscriptions.
- DoubleClick Floodlight requires Google Tag Manager — GTM container injects Floodlight conversion/remarketing pixels, turning ad clicks into measurable signups.
- Finsweet requires Webflow — Finsweet's site attributes build advanced UX interactions without custom JS, relying fully on Webflow's DOM.
- Plyr integrates with YouTube — Plyr wraps YouTube embeds to offer a branded controls experience across product and explainer videos.
- Cloudflare integrates with Cloudflare Turnstile — Turnstile uses Cloudflare's threat intelligence to block bots while maintaining a frictionless submit experience.
- Google Tag Manager runs on Webflow — Webflow's head code insertion allows GTM to manage all third-party marketing beacons centrally.
- Matomo Tag Manager integrates with Piwik PRO Core — Matomo Tag Manager forwards custom events to Piwik PRO for consent-aware analytics without Google dependency.
- Personizely requires Webflow — Personizely script adds A/B experiments and personalization rules to Webflow pages to optimize conversion.
- jsDelivr requires Swiper — jsDelivr serves Swiper assets quickly from edge nodes, keeping carousel performance high globally.
- Google Analytics works alongside Piwik PRO Core — Piwik PRO offers cookieless/GDPR-compliant traffic while Google Analytics tracks detailed marketing acquisitions; both coexist.
- Google Tag Manager overlaps with Matomo Tag Manager — Both manage marketing tags; separate containers split privacy-first analytics from ad pixels but add complexity.
- DoubleClick Floodlight works alongside Google Ads — Floodlight measures Display/Video 360 while Google Ads tracks search; together map full funnel from both ad consoles.

How to fix Appfigures not working
Appfigures collects app store data for developers and marketers: downloads, revenue, ratings, reviews and rankings for your apps and your competitors. When a figure looks missing or a report will not open, the cause is usually a delay in the store data, a connection that has expired, or the account you are signed in to. Find your symptom below.
Jump to what you are seeing
Website Down
The Appfigures site or dashboard does not load for you.
- Open the site in a private window and on another network.
- Check status.appfigures.com for an active incident.
Login Failed
Sign-in is refused, or you are signed in to an account that has no data for your apps.
- If the message says the password is wrong, reset it and check spam for the email.
- Make sure you are signed in to the account your apps were connected to. Another account will show no data for them.
- If you sign in through another service, use that same route.
Data Not Updating
Downloads, revenue or ratings look out of date. App stores report sales with a delay, so the newest days can be incomplete or missing.
- Check the last date shown on the data. Store reports can lag behind the day they cover.
- Check the store connection for the app is still valid, since an expired connection stops new data.
- Wait for the next data update before deciding that something is wrong.
- If the gap continues for several days, send the app name and the dates to support.
API Down
Calls to the Appfigures API fail or time out.
- Check the status code. A 401 or 403 means the key is wrong or not allowed, a 429 means too many calls, and a 5xx means a platform-side problem.
- Confirm the API key has not been changed or revoked.
- Retry with a growing delay.
- Check status.appfigures.com if several calls fail together.
Reports Not Loading
A report does not open or times out. A long date range or many apps in one report is the usual reason.
- Shorten the date range and try again.
- Report on fewer apps at a time.
- If the report stays blank, try a different browser or a private window.
App Crashing
The Appfigures app or dashboard closes or freezes. An old version or a very large report open at the same time are the usual reasons.
- Update the app, or reload the web dashboard if you use it in a browser.
- Close other large reports and tabs before opening a new one.
- Restart the app and open a smaller view first, such as one app, to see whether the problem comes back.
- If it keeps closing, send the version, device or browser, and the steps you took, to support.
Still not working?
If it still does not work, contact Appfigures support through the help option in the dashboard or on appfigures.com. Have your account name, the app names affected, the exact error text, and the time it started with your time zone. Live incident updates are on status.appfigures.com.
Most analytics problems come from store reporting delays, a date range or a connection, and they usually clear when the next data update arrives. This page shows live status, so you can see when Appfigures reports an issue.
