Overview: A WordPress-managed foundation layered with aggressive B2B tracking — Google/LinkedIn conversion tags, ZoomInfo visitor identification, and polished Typeform intake — shows a marketing-driven healthcare interoperability vendor.
What stands out
- Dual ad tracking plus ZoomInfo points to a coordinated ABM strategy.
- Legacy JS (Backbone, Underscore, Moment) suggests an older custom app wrapped in WordPress.
- Typekit/Adobe Fonts duplication signals a half-migrated asset from brand consolidation.
- WP Engine security/caching and Cloudflare show careful attention to healthcare compliance and uptime.
Technologies uhin.org uses
- Popper — Positions floating UI elements like tooltips/dropdowns in the Bootstrap theme.
- WordPress — Content management system.
- Typeform — Embedded interactive forms gather intake or application details with polished UX, indicating strong attention to prospect experience.
- WordPress Block Editor — Gutenberg blocks allow editors to compose policy and client-facing pages with reusable modules.
- Linkedin Insight Tag — LinkedIn site-wide retargeting/analytics code.
- React — Renders the WordPress block editor interface.
- Bootstrap — Responsive design framework.
- jQuery — Core DOM and AJAX library.
- Adobe Fonts — Supplies the actual font CSS/woff files activated by Typekit.
- Yoast SEO — Guides on-page SEO and schema output for healthcare query terms.
- Google Analytics — Traffic and user behavior measurement.
- cdnjs — Serves shared JavaScript libraries from a global CDN to reduce latency.
- WP Engine — Managed WordPress host combining security, caching, and a WordPress-tuned CDN.
- Backbone.js — Powers a legacy client-side UI, perhaps an insurance eligibility widget.
- reCAPTCHA — Blocks spam on public forms.
- MySQL — Database backend for WordPress.
- Draftpress HFCM — Injects header/footer scripts like tracking snippets while keeping WordPress core clean.
- Google Tag Manager — Central tag/management container.
- Linkedin Ads — Measures conversions from LinkedIn paid campaigns targeting administrators.
- Moment.js — Formats dates for claims transactions or deadline calculations in custom scripts.
- Nginx — Web server and reverse proxy.
- Cloudflare — CDN and edge security in front.
- DoubleClick Floodlight — Tracks campaign conversions and audiences for Google Ads, showing a performance-marketing budget beyond organic.
- jQuery Migrate — Preserves compatibility for older jQuery plugins pulled into newer WordPress.
- Zendesk — Provides external support ticket/knowledge-base for healthcare clients.
- Twitter Emoji (Twemoji) — Normalizes emoji rendering across browsers in support documentation.
- Underscore.js — Supplies templating and utility helpers for the Backbone.js views.
- TablePress — Creates searchable tables for provider directories or fee schedules without custom code.
- PHP — Server-side execution engine.
- Typekit (Adobe Fonts) — Loads branded fonts via Typekit's legacy JS API.
- Zoominfo — Feeds B2B account data into sales and marketing to target hospital networks.
How these technologies work together
- PHP requires WordPress — WordPress is written in PHP; the CMS only executes when PHP processes each request.
- MySQL requires WordPress — MySQL is the relational store WordPress uses for posts, options, and user metadata.
- WordPress runs on WP Engine — WP Engine is purpose-built to run WordPress sites, supplying caching, patching, and performance at scale.
- Backbone.js requires Underscore.js — Backbone relies on Underscore for core utilities like extend, each, and its template engine.
- Twitter Emoji (Twemoji) integrates with WordPress — WordPress core bundles Twemoji to standardize emoji rendering across browsers and operating systems.
- React requires WordPress Block Editor — Gutenberg is built with React; the block editor's entire admin interface executes as a React tree.
- jQuery requires jQuery Migrate — Migrate re-enables deprecated jQuery APIs required by older plugins and scripts still active here.
- Google Analytics requires Google Tag Manager — Universal Analytics is loaded through GTM, allowing pageview and event hits to be configured without changing website code.
- Nginx runs on PHP — Nginx forwards dynamic requests to PHP-FPM, allowing WordPress to render under high load.
- Bootstrap requires Popper — Bootstrap uses Popper to position dropdowns, tooltips, and popovers that HTML alone cannot anchor.
- Adobe Fonts overlaps with Typekit (Adobe Fonts) — Typekit was absorbed into Adobe Fonts; both present means duplicate font loading and potential race conditions.
- Linkedin Ads requires Linkedin Insight Tag — The LinkedIn Insight Tag is required for LinkedIn Ads to report website conversions and build retargeting audiences.
- DoubleClick Floodlight requires Google Tag Manager — Floodlight conversion pixels are deployed through GTM, simplifying tag updates and firing rules.
- WordPress requires Yoast SEO — Yoast SEO only operates inside WordPress, adding title and metadata management for posts.
- TablePress works alongside WordPress Block Editor — TablePress tables become shortcode blocks that editors embed within Gutenberg pages for data-heavy guides.
- cdnjs integrates with jQuery — jQuery is fetched from cdnjs to utilize browser caching and low-latency edge endpoints.
- Cloudflare integrates with Nginx — Cloudflare proxies and caches requests before they reach the Nginx origin server.
- Google Tag Manager integrates with Typeform — Typeform events flow into GTM data layers, letting the same container dispatch to analytics and ad tags.
- Draftpress HFCM requires Zendesk — HFCM injects Zendesk Web Widget code into the site without touching template files.
- Backbone.js integrates with jQuery — Backbone.View hands DOM operations and AJAX to jQuery, a pairing popularized by older web apps.
- cdnjs works alongside Moment.js — Moment.js is served alongside other libraries on the shared cdnjs network for cheaper, cached delivery.
- DoubleClick Floodlight works alongside Linkedin Ads — Both tags measure paid performance across Google and LinkedIn, giving a view of B2B campaign ROI.
- reCAPTCHA integrates with Typeform — Typeform embeds reCAPTCHA to block bot submissions on public intake forms.
- Google Tag Manager integrates with Zoominfo — ZoomInfo's website tracking script fires inside GTM to identify anonymous business visitors.

How to fix Uhin not working
UHIN is a nonprofit health information exchange in Utah. It moves claims, eligibility checks and clinical records between hospitals, clinics, insurers and public health agencies. Staff at member organisations use it. Find your symptom below. Do not put patient names, dates of birth, identifiers or record details in a support message.
Jump to what you are seeing
Website Down
The UHIN website or a member portal does not load for you.
- Open the page in a private window and on another network.
- Check status.uhin.org for an active incident.
- If only your network is affected, ask your IT team to check the firewall.
Login Failed
Sign-in is refused. Check you are using the account your organisation set up.
- If the message says the password is wrong, reset it and check spam.
- Check your user has the role you need for the service you are using.
- Ask your organisation's administrator to confirm your access.
Claims Processing
A claim or eligibility check is rejected or does not return a result.
- Read the rejection or error code. It usually names the field or segment that failed.
- Check the submitted data is complete and in the format the transaction expects.
- Check the trading partner setup for that transaction type is active.
- Send the batch or transaction reference and the time to support, without any patient details.
SFTP Connection
A file transfer connection will not open or log in.
- Check the server name, username and port are correct for your setup.
- Check your network does not block the port, as some office networks do.
- Check the key or password has not expired, and ask the administrator to reset it if needed.
- If it still fails, send the time and the exact error text to support.
HIE Access
Access to the health information exchange is refused, or records do not show for a patient you are treating.
- Check your user has the access role and consent for the service you need.
- Check the organisation you are acting for is set up to share with that provider.
- Ask your administrator to check access. Do not try to work around an access block.
Enrollment Issues
A new organisation or user cannot finish enrolment with the exchange.
- Check every enrolment form field is complete and matches the organisation's records.
- Check the required agreements or certificates are uploaded.
- Ask the enrolment contact to check the status of the request, and send the request reference and the time to support.
Still not working?
If it still does not work, contact your organisation's administrator first, since they manage access and connections. For a platform-wide problem, contact UHIN through the help option on the UHIN website. Have your organisation name, the transaction or enrolment reference, the exact error or rejection code, and the time it started with your time zone. Never send patient names, identifiers or record details in a support message. Live incident updates are on status.uhin.org.
Most health-exchange problems come from a data format, an access role or a connection setting, and they usually clear once that is corrected. The status page shows live incidents, so you can see whether the problem is on UHIN's side.
