Overview: A developer-first content and product analytics stack built for a subscription open-source platform: headless CMS plus Algolia for docs discovery, Vercel and Tailwind for fast JAMstack delivery, and Amplitude for product-led growth.

What stands out

  • Algolia and Contentful indicate documentation and educational content are primary acquisition channels for developer users.
  • Amplitude points to product-led growth and retention optimization for subscription revenue.
  • Vercel plus Tailwind shows investment in fast, global, modern frontend experiences.
  • PHP persists as a minor or legacy layer, suggesting incremental migration rather than greenfield.

Technologies temporal.io uses

  • Contentful — Headless CMS manages marketing pages, docs, and release content for fast publishing.
  • Amplitude — Tracks product-led signups and feature adoption to optimize subscription conversions.
  • Google Analytics — Measures traffic and campaign performance.
  • Tailwind CSS — Utility-first CSS signals rapid frontend iteration and consistent design across marketing and docs.
  • Algolia — Powers instant docs and site search, critical for developer experience and technical content discovery.
  • Vercel — Edge hosting enables fast global delivery of JAMstack pages and previews for content changes.
  • Google Tag Manager — Centralizes marketing tags and analytics deployment.
  • PHP — Likely legacy or marketing backend; minor clue.
  • HSTS — Enforces HTTPS security baseline.

How these technologies work together

  • Algolia integrates with Contentful — Contentful publishes docs and pages while Algolia indexes them for instant, relevant developer search.
  • Tailwind CSS works alongside Vercel — Tailwind utility classes ship efficiently on Vercel edge network, speeding marketing and docs UI.
  • Contentful integrates with Vercel — Contentful content previews deploy through Vercel, giving editors fast JAMstack publishing workflows.
  • Amplitude works alongside Google Analytics — Amplitude tracks product behavior while Google Analytics covers acquisition, mapping funnel and retention.
  • Google Analytics integrates with Google Tag Manager — Google Tag Manager deploys Google Analytics tags, centralizing measurement configuration for the site.

How to fix Temporal not working

Temporal is a platform for running reliable workflows as code. Developers write workflows in several languages, and Temporal keeps them running through retries and failures. Temporal Cloud is the managed service. Find your symptom below. Most problems come from a worker that is not connected, a namespace or certificate setting, a sign-in, or the platform itself. Check the status page before you restart workers across a whole system.

Jump to what you are seeing

Service Unavailable

The Temporal service does not respond to your workers or your clients.

  1. Check status.temporal.io for an incident affecting your region and namespace.
  2. Check your network can reach the service address, with no firewall or proxy blocking it.
  3. Keep your workers running, since they retry on their own once the service returns.

Web UI Down

The web interface does not load, or it shows errors.

  1. Reload in a private window, and check you are signed in to the right namespace.
  2. Check status.temporal.io for an incident.
  3. If the interface stays down, use the command-line tool to check workflows until it returns.

API Connection Failed

A client cannot connect to the Temporal API.

  1. Check the address, namespace and client certificate or API key match the set-up.
  2. Check the certificate has not expired, since an expired certificate blocks the connection.
  3. Check status.temporal.io, then retry the connection with a growing delay.

Login Failed

Sign-in to the Temporal account is refused.

  1. If the message says the password is wrong, reset it and check spam.
  2. Use the sign-in route your organisation set up.
  3. Try a private window to rule out an old session.

Workflow Latency

Workflows start or finish later than expected.

  1. Check the number of workers and their capacity, since busy workers slow the work.
  2. Check the task queue your workers are listening to.
  3. Check status.temporal.io, and report the workflow type and the time if the delay continues.

Worker Connectivity

A worker cannot connect to the service, or it shows as disconnected.

  1. Check the worker process is running, and that its network connection is working.
  2. Check the worker's address, namespace and certificate match the service set-up.
  3. Check status.temporal.io, then restart the worker once and check its log.

Still not working?

Contact your team's Temporal administrator or the engineer who owns the workflows first. For a platform-wide problem, contact Temporal support through the help option in the Temporal Cloud console or on the Temporal website. Have your namespace name, the workflow ID (not any personal data), the exact error text, and the time with your time zone. Never send certificates, private keys or API keys in a support message. Live incident updates are on status.temporal.io.

Most workflow-platform problems come from a worker connection, a certificate or a busy worker pool, and they usually clear once that is checked. Workflows are designed to resume after an outage, so check the status page before you change them. The status page shows live incidents, so you can see whether the problem is on Temporal's side.
