Obkio is a network performance monitoring software that helps IT teams and managed service providers identify and troubleshoot network issues. It uses lightweight monitoring agents deployed at different locations to continuously measure packet loss, latency, jitter and throughput between sites, data centers, cloud services and the internet. Obkio's dashboards and visual traceroutes pinpoint where problems occur, whether in the local network, ISP or cloud. Businesses use Obkio to resolve VoIP quality problems, slow connections and intermittent outages.

How to fix Obkio not working
Obkio is network performance monitoring software. It uses small monitoring agents at different sites to measure packet loss, latency, jitter and throughput, and its dashboards show where a problem sits. IT teams and managed service providers use it. Find your symptom below. Most problems come from an agent that has stopped, a sign-in, an alert setting, or the platform itself. An agent that goes offline can also point to a network problem at that site.

Website Down
The Obkio website does not load for you.
- Open the page in a private window and on another network.
- Check status.obkio.com for an active incident.
- If only your network is affected, ask IT to check the firewall.
Agent Offline
A monitoring agent shows as offline, so it sends no data.
- Check the agent device has power, and a working connection to the internet.
- Check the device's firewall or network rules still allow the agent to reach Obkio.
- Restart the agent once, and check status.obkio.com. Note the agent name and the time it went offline.
Login Failed
Sign-in is refused.
- If the message says the password is wrong, reset it and check spam.
- Check you are using the account your organisation set up.
- Try a private window to rule out an old session.
Dashboard Not Loading
The dashboard stays blank or shows an error.
- Shorten the time period, since a very long period can time out.
- Reload in a private window with extensions turned off.
- If one widget fails, note its name and the time.
Alerts Not Sending
Alerts for a network problem do not reach you.
- Check the alert rule and the recipient list are correct.
- Check notifications are allowed in your email or phone settings, and check spam.
- Send a test alert, and check status.obkio.com before you rely on alerts for a live problem.
API Error
Calls to the Obkio API fail or return an error.
- Check the status code. An access error usually means the key is wrong, too many calls means you should slow down, and a server error means a service-side problem.
- Confirm the key has not been revoked and is for the right organisation.
- Retry with a growing delay, and check status.obkio.com if several calls fail together.
Data Not Updating
Measurements stop, or the data is out of date.
- Check the agent is online, and that the site it measures can be reached.
- Check the time period on the dashboard, then reload.
- If the data stays out of date for everyone, check status.obkio.com.
Still not working?
If it still does not work, contact your Obkio administrator or your network provider first, since they manage agents and networks. For a platform-wide problem, contact Obkio support through the help option in the dashboard or on the Obkio website. Have your organisation name, the agent name and site, the exact error text, and the time with your time zone. Never send passwords or network credentials in a support message. Live incident updates are on status.obkio.com.
Most monitoring problems come from an agent connection, a firewall rule or an alert setting, and they usually clear once that is checked. The status page shows live incidents, so you can see whether the problem is on Obkio's side.
