How to fix InfoTrack not working

InfoTrack gives legal professionals search, verification, e-filing, e-signing and workflow tools that link into practice management systems. Most problems come from a sign-in, a link to your matter system, a filing or order that needs checking, or the platform itself. Find your symptom below and start with its quickest check.

Jump to what you are seeing

Website

The InfoTrack website or portal does not load for you.

  1. Open the page in a private window and on another network.
  2. Check status.infotrack.com for an active incident.
  3. If only your firm's network is affected, ask IT to check the firewall.

eFiling

A filing does not submit, or it is rejected by the court system.

  1. Read the rejection or error message. Courts usually state exactly what must be changed.
  2. Check the document format, file size and file name meet the requirements shown for that filing.
  3. Check the fees and party details are complete before resubmitting.
  4. Do not resubmit the same filing until you have checked whether the first one was accepted.

Process Serving

A process serving order does not create or update.

  1. Check the order details, such as the address and the party names, are complete and correct.
  2. Check the order was not already placed, so you do not create a duplicate.
  3. Check the order's status in your matter. Some orders take time to show progress.
  4. If it still shows an error, send the order reference and the time to support.

eSigning

A signature request does not send, or a signer cannot complete it.

  1. Check the signer's email address is correct, and check their spam folder.
  2. Ask the signer to try a private window or another browser, and to complete every required step.
  3. Check the document status. A request waiting for another signer is not a failure.

Docket Syncing

Court docket entries are not syncing into your matter, or they are out of date.

  1. Check the matter is linked to the right court case, since a wrong link stops the sync.
  2. Check the date of the last sync, and wait for the next run before deciding entries are missing.
  3. Open the integration's log and fix the first error before anything else.

Case Management Integration

The link to your practice management system stops sending or matching data.

  1. Check the integration is still connected and its login has not expired.
  2. Check the matter or client identifier in your system matches the one InfoTrack uses.
  3. Open the integration's log and fix the first error, since later errors often follow from it.
  4. Test with one matter before running a wider sync.

Still not working?

If it still does not work, contact InfoTrack support through the help option in the platform or on infotrack.com. Have your firm name, the matter or order reference, the exact error text, and the time it started with your time zone. Do not send client-confidential documents in a support message. Live incident updates are on status.infotrack.com.

Most legal-platform problems come from a document format, a matter link or a sign-in, and they usually clear once that one item is corrected. The status page shows live platform incidents, so you can see whether the problem is on InfoTrack's side.
