How to fix Gcore not working

Gcore provides a content delivery network, cloud servers, security services and AI infrastructure from many locations. Developers, operators and IT teams use its control panel and APIs. Find your symptom below. Most problems come from a sign-in, a server or network setting, a DNS or certificate record, or the Gcore service itself.

Jump to what you are seeing

Website

The Gcore website or a site served by Gcore does not load for you.

  1. Open the page in a private window and on another network. If it loads for other people, the problem is on your side.
  2. Check status.gcore.com for an active incident.
  3. If the site shows an error page, note the code and the time before you change anything.

Cloud

A virtual machine does not start, or it stops responding.

  1. Check the machine's status in the control panel.
  2. Check the machine's resource use, since a machine at its limit can stop responding.
  3. Restart it once from the control panel, then check it reconnects.

Streaming

A video stream does not play, or it buffers for viewers.

  1. Check the stream is running and the source is sending.
  2. Test the stream on another network to see whether one viewer's connection is the cause.
  3. Check status.gcore.com for a streaming incident.

CDN

Some visitors see old content, or a file does not load through the CDN.

  1. Purge the cached copy of the file in the control panel, then check again.
  2. Check the origin server is reachable and serving the file.
  3. Check the CDN's resource rules for that path.

Bare Metal

A dedicated server does not respond, or it does not boot.

  1. Check the server's status in the control panel.
  2. Use the remote console to see the boot message, if the console is available.
  3. If the server still does not respond, send the server name and the time to support.

Edge Security

Legitimate traffic is blocked by a security rule, or an attack is not blocked as expected.

  1. Check the event log for the request and the rule that matched it.
  2. Allow that one address or path through a narrow rule, rather than turning protection off.
  3. Ask your security administrator to review the rule before a permanent change.

AI Infrastructure

An AI model or GPU instance does not start, or it runs out of memory.

  1. Check the GPU instance is available in the location you chose.
  2. Check the model fits in the memory of the instance you picked.
  3. Read the logs for the first error, such as an out-of-memory message.

Control Panel

The control panel does not load, or a page shows an error.

  1. Reload in a private window with extensions turned off.
  2. Check your role allows the page you are opening.
  3. If one page fails, note its name and the time.

Still not working?

If it still does not work, contact your Gcore administrator first, since they manage accounts and billing. For a platform-wide problem, contact Gcore support through the help option in the control panel or on gcore.com. Have your account name, the server, site or resource name, the exact error text, and the time it started with your time zone. Never send passwords, API keys or certificates' private parts in a support message. Live incident updates are on status.gcore.com.

Most infrastructure problems come from a machine at its limit, a cache that holds an old copy or a security rule, and they usually clear once that one item is corrected. The status page shows live platform incidents, so you can see whether the problem is on Gcore's side.
