Cubecloud.dev is a domain operated by Cube, the company behind the open source Cube semantic layer and Cube Cloud. Cube lets data teams define metrics, dimensions and business logic once on top of data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery and Databricks, then serve consistent data to BI tools, embedded analytics, spreadsheets and AI agents through SQL, REST and GraphQL APIs. Cube Cloud adds managed hosting, caching for fast queries, access control and an AI-powered analytics experience. The cubecloud.dev domain hosts customer deployments and cloud services.

Overview: A modern, marketing-driven B2B SaaS platform built on Google Cloud with a React frontend and Node/Express API, using enterprise ad tracking to optimize paid acquisition.
What stands out
- Uses DoubleClick Floodlight (rare) indicating sophisticated paid media measurement and retargeting.
- Full Google Cloud stack (hosting, CDN, backend) suggests deep integration with BigQuery for semantic layer data processing.
- Tag management via GTM centralizes both analytics and advertising, enabling agile marketing experimentation.
Technologies cubecloud.dev uses
- DoubleClick Floodlight — Tracks ad conversions and retargets visitors through Google Marketing Platform, signaling paid acquisition and enterprise demand generation.
- Google Analytics — Measures user engagement and conversion funnels.
- Google Cloud CDN — Delivers static assets and API responses via edge network, ensuring low-latency access for global data teams.
- Node.js — Runs Express backend and build tooling.
- Google Cloud — Hosts backend services and likely integrates with BigQuery for scalable data processing and storage.
- Express — Serves the semantic layer API, handling data modeling and query orchestration requests for the web app.
- React — Powers interactive dashboards for data modeling.
- HSTS — Forces secure HTTPS connections.
- Google Tag Manager — Deploys analytics and advertising tags without code changes.
- HTTP/3 — Enables faster, multiplexed connections for modern browsers.
How these technologies work together
- Express requires Node.js — Express requires Node.js to process API requests for the semantic layer platform.
- Google Cloud runs on Google Cloud CDN — Google Cloud CDN runs on Google Cloud infrastructure, caching content at edge points of presence.
- Express runs on Google Cloud — Express backend is deployed on Google Cloud services like Cloud Run or App Engine.
- DoubleClick Floodlight integrates with Google Tag Manager — GTM likely deploys Floodlight tags for conversion tracking across paid acquisition campaigns.
- Google Analytics integrates with Google Tag Manager — Google Tag Manager deploys Google Analytics to track behavior and measure signups.
- Google Cloud CDN works alongside HTTP/3 — HTTP/3 improves performance when Google Cloud CDN serves content over QUIC to modern browsers.
- Express integrates with React — React frontend consumes the Express API for interactive data modeling and query management.
- Google Cloud CDN works alongside HSTS — Google Cloud CDN sends HSTS headers, ensuring browsers always use secure connections.

How to fix Cube Cloud not working
Cube Cloud hosts the Cube semantic layer, which gives BI tools and applications consistent metrics on top of a data warehouse. Data teams and analysts use it. Find your symptom below. Most problems come from a sign-in, a database connection, a query or caching setting, a deployment step, or the Cube Cloud service itself.
Jump to what you are seeing
Website Down
The Cube Cloud website or console does not load for you.
- Open the page in a private window and on another network.
- Check status.cubecloud.dev for an active incident.
- If only your network is affected, ask IT to check the firewall.
API Unresponsive
Calls to a Cube API, such as SQL, REST or GraphQL, do not respond or time out.
- Check the status code. A 401 or 403 means the token or permission is wrong, a 429 means too many calls, and a 5xx means a platform-side problem.
- Check the deployment is running in the console. A stopped deployment cannot answer.
- Retry with a growing delay, and check the status page if several calls fail together.
- If it still fails, send the deployment name and the time to support.
Login Failed
Sign-in to the console is refused. Check you are using the organisation account your team set up.
- If the message says the password is wrong, reset it and check spam.
- Ask your administrator to confirm your user is active and in the right organisation.
- Try a private window to rule out an old session.
Deployment Failed
A deployment does not start or finish. The build or schema error usually says what went wrong.
- Open the deployment log and read the first error.
- Check the data model files for a syntax error, such as a missing bracket or a misspelled field name.
- Check the warehouse connection details are current, and that the user can read the tables your models use.
- Deploy again after the fix. If the failure is on the platform side, check the status page.
Database Connection
Cube Cloud cannot reach your data warehouse. The connection details, a network allow-list or the warehouse user is usually the problem.
- Check the connection details, such as host, database name and user, match your warehouse's current values.
- If your warehouse uses a network allow-list, check it includes the Cube Cloud connection.
- Check the warehouse user has permission to read the tables your models use.
- Test the connection from the console. If it still fails, send the error text and the time to support.
Query Timeouts
Queries take too long and stop. Large tables, heavy joins and missing caching are the usual reasons.
- Shorten the query's date range or filter to see whether the data size is the cause.
- Check the caching setting for the model, since cached results return faster.
- Check the warehouse itself is not busy or slow.
- If the same query keeps timing out, send the query and the time to support.
Still not working?
If it still does not work, contact Cube Cloud support through the help option in the console or on the Cube Cloud website. Have your organisation name, the deployment name, the exact error or log text, the time it started with your time zone, and the type of warehouse you use. Never send database passwords or API tokens in a support message. Live incident updates are on status.cubecloud.dev.
Most semantic-layer problems come from a connection detail, a model error or a slow query, and they usually clear once that is corrected. The status page shows live platform incidents, so you can see whether the problem is on Cube Cloud's side.
