Accredible down?

Accredible is a digital credentialing platform that helps organisations issue, manage and track digital certificates and open badges. Training providers, universities, professional associations and companies use it to award verifiable credentials that learners can share on LinkedIn and social media, with tamper-proof verification and blockchain options. Accredible also provides credential analytics, pathways and spotlight directories that showcase credential holders. It helps issuers increase brand visibility, prevent fraud and demonstrate the value of their programs.

How to fix Accredible not working

Accredible is a digital credentialing platform. Organisations use it to issue and manage digital certificates and badges that learners can share and check. Find your symptom below. Most problems come from a sign-in, a certificate template or recipient detail, an email setting, or the platform itself. Never send learners' personal details in a support message.

Jump to what you are seeing

Website Down

The Accredible website does not load for you.

  1. Open the page in a private window and on another network.
  2. Check status.accredible.com for an active incident.
  3. If only your network is affected, ask IT to check the firewall.

Login Failed

Sign-in is refused.

  1. If the message says the password is wrong, reset it and check spam.
  2. Check you are using the account your organisation set up.
  3. Try a private window to rule out an old session.

Certificate Not Loading

A certificate or badge page does not load, or it shows an error.

  1. Reload the link in a private window, and check the link is the current one.
  2. Check the certificate has been issued, and not left as a draft.
  3. Check status.accredible.com, and report the certificate name and the time if it stays broken.

API Issues

Calls to the Accredible API fail or return an error.

  1. Check the status code. An access error usually means the key is wrong, too many calls means you should slow down, and a server error means a service-side problem.
  2. Confirm the key is for the right organisation and has not been revoked.
  3. Retry with a growing delay, and check status.accredible.com if several calls fail together.

Email Not Received

A certificate or claim email does not arrive for the learner.

  1. Check the learner's email address is correct, and that it is not in spam.
  2. Ask the learner to check the promotions folder, and resend the email once.
  3. Check status.accredible.com, and report the recipient's email domain and the time, without the full address.

LinkedIn Sharing Failed

A learner cannot add a certificate to their LinkedIn profile.

  1. Check the learner is signed in to the LinkedIn account they want to use.
  2. Check the certificate is issued and publicly visible, and try the share again.
  3. Check status.accredible.com. The learner can also copy the certificate link and share it manually.

Still not working?

Contact your organisation's Accredible administrator first, since they manage credentials and templates. For a platform-wide problem, contact Accredible support through the help option in the platform or on its website. Have your organisation name, the certificate or template name, the exact error text, and the time with your time zone. Never send learners' personal details, passwords or API keys in a support message. Live incident updates are on status.accredible.com.

Most credential problems come from a link, a recipient detail or an email filter, and they usually clear once that is checked. The status page shows live incidents, so you can see whether the problem is on Accredible's side.
